Want to get your ex back without waiting months and hoping they'll forgive you and miss you? This seems to be one of the most common plans, and it mostly causes a lot of heartaches. Instead, follow this 3 Step plan and see if you can get your ex back in a few hours or a few days at most.
Step One: The very first thing you need to do is understand why the relationship got broke. What did you or they do that contributed to the split? What were the underlying reasons or the big problem that developed between you?
Relationships will end for one of three main reasons. You wronged them in some significant way. They wronged you. Or, they lost their interest in and passion for you, you drifted apart.
Figuring out the reason why you split is the first important step. Admitting what went wrong and being honest about it is key to repairing the rift between you.
Step Two is to have a reconnect conversation with them where you discuss honestly how you feel about what went wrong, and you get them to open up about how they feel about what went wrong. In this reconnect conversation you don't argue or shout or fight, but you do talk " and listen to them - about the issue. For instance, if they cheated on you and you kicked them out, you need to vent your feelings about what they did and you need to be heard and understood. (Relationship Drift requires a different second step.)
The key is for both of you to discuss your feelings about what went wrong. Not to prove who's right or wrong. The negative emotions filling your mate's heart may need to be vented and released. You do this by listening to them, not arguing with them. Once they are aired out, you start to have some room for more positive feelings about each other again.
Step Three is discretionary. You have to sense how well step two went. If feelings got vented and aired sufficiently, then you can give or accept an apology. This paves the way to discuss getting back together.
You don't necessarily want to demand that they take you back or come back right now. You don't need to force them to make some big decision. But you can let them know what you want, that you'd like them to consider seeing you again. Leaving it up to them is often a great thing to do at this stage. There is more detail to each of these three steps, but they can often pave the way for you to get back with your mate. - 16035
